Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, also known as "trolls," after having all assault charges against him dropped. He showed his strength and resilience after the incident that led to his arrest on Monday.
The artist decided to share a video from a security camera on social media along with a message directed at those who accused him of being at fault for physically touching a police officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk revealed that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged that they had urged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to interfere in their license check.
Taste of Country has obtained a video that depicts Young's calm behavior when attempting to restrain an agent. From one perspective, it is unclear whether Young made any physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" denies ever making physical contact with anyone. He addresses the incident for the first time in a recent video posted on his TikTok account.
"I want to address those who criticize and advise against engaging with law enforcement by saying, 'Do not physically interact with a police officer'… I want to clarify that I did not make any physical contact with him," the person expresses.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally affected by the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
