Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, known as "trolls," after having all assault charges dropped following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist utilized social media to share a surveillance video along with a message directed towards those who insinuated that he was at fault for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk stated that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged that they had urged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their license check process.
A video, obtained by Taste of Country, depicts Young's behavior as non-aggressive while attempting to prevent an agent. From one perspective, it is questionable whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" insists that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He has recently posted a video on his TikTok account addressing the incident for the first time.
In response to the trolls who are advising against touching a police officer, the person clarifies that they did not physically touch the officer.
Now that all the charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his efforts to promote his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
