  • by

Chris Young responded to his critics after having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday. He confidently expressed his innocence and took pride in being cleared of any wrongdoing.

Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video and addressed those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer.

On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, announced that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to step back after he attempted to interfere with their license check.

Taste of Country has obtained a video that depicts Young's non-aggressive attempts to prevent an agent. From one perspective, it is uncertain if he made any physical contact with the man.

The individual who sings "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically contact anyone. He recently posted a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident for the very first time.

"To those individuals who are trolling and insisting that I should not have touched a police officer… I want to clarify that I did not physically touch him," he states.

Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which will be released on March 22.
