Chris Young had a confident response to the individuals who criticized him, after he was declared innocent of all accusations following his arrest on Monday.
The vocalist decided to use social media to share a surveillance video along with a message to address those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk disclosed that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to step back when he attempted to intervene during their license check.
A video obtained by Taste of Country depicts Young displaying minimal aggression while attempting to restrain an agent. From one perspective, it is unclear whether he actually made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He recently released a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
"I did not physically make contact with the police officer," he states in response to those who are criticizing him for supposedly touching the officer.
After having all charges against him dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, titled Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
