Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, commonly referred to as "trolls," after having all assault charges against him dropped. He took pride in his vindication following his arrest on Monday.
The artist used social media to share a surveillance video and a message to those who accused him of being at fault for touching a law enforcement officer.
The charges were dismissed on Friday after the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously confessed to pressuring Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their license check.
A video, acquired by Taste of Country, depicts Young's non-aggressive behavior as he attempts to intervene and prevent an agent from proceeding. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether Young made any physical contact with the individual.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He recently posted a video on his TikTok account, addressing the incident for the first time.
In response to those who are criticizing and advising against any physical contact with a police officer, the person clarifies that they did not actually touch the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably go back to promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
