Chris Young proudly responded to his critics, commonly referred to as 'trolls', after having all charges dropped against him subsequent to his arrest on the previous Monday.
The vocalist used social media to share a surveillance video along with a message directed towards those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. This decision came after the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission acknowledged that they had pressured Young to keep his distance when he attempted to interfere in their license check.
A video, which has been obtained by Taste of Country, depicts Young attempting to restrain an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He has recently posted a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident for the very first time.
The person who wrote this message is addressing the trolls who are telling him not to touch a police officer. He clarifies that he did not actually touch the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer facing any legal consequences for the incident. It is expected that he will resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
