Chris Young Clears His Name: Assault Charges Dropped and Trolls Shut Down

After having all charges dropped from his arrest last Monday, Chris Young confidently responded to the critics who had accused him.

The vocalist utilized social media to share a surveillance video and convey a message to individuals who believed he was at fault for physically touching a law enforcement officer.

On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. Earlier, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their actions of pressuring Young to "create distance" after he attempted to intervene in their license check.

Taste of Country has obtained a video that depicts Young displaying minimal aggression while attempting to prevent an agent. From a particular angle, there is uncertainty if he even made physical contact with the individual.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. He recently uploaded a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.

The individual who wrote this message is addressing all the people who are criticizing them for allegedly touching a police officer. They clarify that they did not physically make contact with the officer.

Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer facing any legal consequences from the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
