Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, known as 'trolls', after the assault charges against him were dropped. He expressed his satisfaction after being acquitted of all the accusations that led to his arrest on the previous Monday.
The artist used social media to share a surveillance video and convey a message to those who believed he was at fault for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. Previously, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to step back after he attempted to interfere in their license check.
Taste of Country has obtained a video that depicts Young's actions in a non-aggressive manner as he attempts to prevent an agent. From one angle, it is unclear whether he made any physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically harm anyone. He recently posted a video on TikTok, where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
In response to those criticizing him for touching a police officer, the person clarifies that they did not actually make any physical contact with the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally affected by the incident. He is expected to resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which will be released on March 22.
