Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, or "trolls," after all charges against him were dropped following his arrest last Monday.
Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video along with a message addressing those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a police officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence, leading to the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged their involvement in pressuring Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their license check.
Taste of Country has acquired a video that demonstrates Young's calm behavior as he attempts to prevent an agent from proceeding. One perspective raises doubt about whether he even made physical contact with the individual.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He recently posted a video on his TikTok where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
"I want to address those who are criticizing me and advising against engaging with law enforcement. I want to clarify that I did not physically make contact with the police officer," he explains.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his promotion for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
