Chris Young Clears His Name: Assault Charges Dropped and Trolls Shut Down

  • by

After having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday, Chris Young confidently responded to the critics who had accused him.

The vocalist used social media to share a surveillance video and address anyone who accused him of being at fault for physically interacting with a law enforcement officer.

On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged that they had urged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to intervene in their license check.

A video, acquired by Taste of Country, depicts Young's behavior as non-aggressive while attempting to prevent an agent. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he made physical contact with the individual.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never laid a hand on anyone. He addresses the incident for the first time in a recent video posted on his TikTok account.

The individual who wrote this is addressing the trolls who are advising against physically engaging with a police officer. They clarify that they did not make any physical contact with the officer in question.

Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his efforts to promote his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
