Chris Young confidently responded to his critics after having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist used social media to share a surveillance video and address anyone who criticized him for touching a law enforcement officer, expressing his perspective.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged that they had urged Young to keep his distance after he attempted to interfere with their license check.
A video acquired by Taste of Country depicts Young attempting to intervene and stop an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it raises doubts about whether he actually made any physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. In a recent video posted on his TikTok account, he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
In response to those who are criticizing him for touching a police officer, the person clarifies that they did not actually make physical contact with the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer facing any legal consequences for the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
