Chris Young Clears His Name: Assault Charges Dropped and Trolls Shut Down

  • by

Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, commonly referred to as 'trolls', after having all assault charges against him dropped. He expressed his satisfaction and relief after being exonerated from the charges that stemmed from his arrest on Monday.

The artist used social media to share a surveillance video and a statement directed towards those who believed he was at fault for touching a police officer.

On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously confessed to urging Young to step back from the situation after he attempted to interfere with their license check.

Taste of Country has obtained a video in which Young can be seen attempting to restrain an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it is uncertain whether he actually made physical contact with the man.

The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not physically contact anyone. In a recent TikTok video, he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.

The person who wrote this message is responding to the trolls who are advising against physical contact with a police officer. They clarify that they did not physically come into contact with the officer.

Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably go back to focusing on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
