Chris Young confidently responded to critics after having all charges dropped following his arrest on Monday.
Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video and addressed those who criticized him for touching a law enforcement officer, asserting that they were mistaken.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk declared that he had concluded his examination of the evidence, leading to the dismissal of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged that they urged Young to create a separation after he attempted to interfere in their license verification process.
A video obtained by Taste of Country reveals that Young showed very little aggression while attempting to prevent an agent from doing something. From one angle, it is unclear whether he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. In a recent TikTok video, he addresses the incident and opens up about it for the first time.
"I did not physically make contact with the police officer," the individual states in response to those who are criticizing them and suggesting not to engage with law enforcement.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, titled Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
