Chris Young Defends Himself Against Trolls After Assault Charges are Dropped

  • by

After having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday, Chris Young responded to his critics by confidently asserting himself.

Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video and addressed those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer by conveying a message.

On Friday, there were no charges filed as the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, stated that he had completed his examination of the evidence. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had previously acknowledged that they had urged Young to step back after he attempted to get involved in their license check.

A video obtained by Taste of Country depicts Young attempting to halt an agent without displaying much aggression. From one perspective, it is uncertain if he even made physical contact with the man.

The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. In a recent video posted on his TikTok account, he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.

The individual who wrote this message is addressing the trolls who are advising against physically engaging with a police officer. They assert that they did not make any physical contact with the officer.

Now that all the charges have been dismissed, Young no longer has any legal issues to worry about. He can now focus on promoting his highly anticipated album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.

Here are 11 fantastic country songs that revolve around the theme of getting arrested.
