Chris Young Sets the Record Straight and Moves Forward After Assault Charges Are Dropped

  • by

Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, commonly referred to as 'trolls', after having all charges against him dropped subsequent to his arrest last Monday.

Using social media, the singer shared a surveillance video along with a message directed towards those who accused him of being at fault for physically engaging with a law enforcement agent.

On Friday, Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk announced that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to drop the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had acknowledged their actions of urging Young to step back after he attempted to intervene in their license check.

A video, which was acquired by Taste of Country, depicts Young behaving calmly and without much aggression as he attempts to prevent an agent from doing something. From one perspective, it is doubtful if he even made physical contact with the man.

The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He has recently posted a video on his TikTok where he addresses the incident, making it the first time he has spoken about it.

The individual asserts that they did not physically make contact with the police officer, in response to those who are criticizing them and advising against doing so.

After having all the charges against him dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album titled Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
