Chris Young confidently responded to his critics, known as 'Trolls', after having all assault charges dropped following his arrest last Monday.
The vocalist shared a video from surveillance footage on social media along with a message for those who criticized him for touching a law enforcement officer, expressing his perspective on the matter.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had already confessed to urging Young to "create distance" after he attempted to intervene in their license check.
A video, acquired by Taste of Country, displays Young's behavior as he attempts to restrain an agent without displaying any noticeable aggression. From one angle, it is unclear whether Young made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the hit song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He recently posted a video on TikTok where he addresses the incident publicly for the first time.
The person who wrote this message is addressing the trolls who are claiming that they should not touch a police officer. The person clarifies that they did not touch the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer facing any legal consequences for the incident. He can now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
