  • by

After undergoing a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure, there were initial concerns about the success of Loretta Lynn's son Ernest's operation. However, his wife Crystal recently shared an update stating that Ernest has started showing positive signs of recovery, with notable improvements in his health as of Monday (Jan. 29).

Crystal expresses her inability to provide a logical explanation for the situation, attributing it to a higher power, which she refers to as "GOD". She shares on Facebook how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a total of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. She also mentions how their circumstances seemed to be more severe on one day and less serious on the next. Additionally, Crystal highlights the contrast between feeling uncertain about the future one day and having confidence in a positive future the next day.

She enthusiastically declares that GOD is capable of accomplishing what we, as humans, cannot, and HE has indeed achieved it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a chair at a medical facility, connected to medical equipment but seemingly in a peaceful state.

Crystal has been seeking support and prayers from concerned fans during Ernest's medical journey. In her most recent update, she highlights the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improved health.

The author acknowledges that none of the achievements would have been possible without the faith of the readers, the support of their almighty God, and the prayers they offered. The author expresses gratitude to everyone for being a part of their support system and for taking the time to pray for them. They appreciate everyone for being a part of God's army and they will be forever thankful.

She also mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return home and recover after his time in the hospital.

Loretta Lynn has experienced the unfortunate loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their family property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She reached the age of 90 at the time of her death. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist and held the record for being the most honored female country performer in history.
