There is some positive news regarding the recovery of Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, after he underwent a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, Ernest's wife Crystal has provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health as of Monday, January 29.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the sudden turn of events, except for attributing it to the divine intervention of God. She describes how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a continuous period of three weeks, but the very next day they were able to. Similarly, she mentions how they were facing more critical circumstances at one point, but the following day those circumstances seemed to have improved. Crystal highlights the contrast between feeling uncertain about the future on one day, and the next day feeling optimistic and assured that the future holds positive prospects.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, are unable to do, and she states that HE has indeed achieved it! Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest, who is in the process of recovering. The photo depicts Ernest sitting in a chair in a medical facility, connected to various machines, but overall appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's challenging medical journey, Crystal has been seeking the support and prayers of concerned fans for her husband's recovery. In her recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of their community. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support system, for caring enough to pray for them, and for being a part of God's army. Their gratitude is eternal.
She also mentions that Ernest is able to return to his own home in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the unfortunate loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She reached the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
