After undergoing a surgery to treat his kidney failure, there were initial concerns that Loretta Lynn's son Ernest may not have had a successful outcome. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's health has shown significant improvements, according to his wife Crystal.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot provide any rationale for the situation she is experiencing, except for attributing it to a higher power, which she refers to as GOD. She mentions how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for three consecutive weeks, but the next day they were able to. Similarly, one day they were confronted with more severe circumstances, but the following day those circumstances seemed to have alleviated. Crystal also highlights the uncertainty they faced regarding the future on one day, only to feel confident and optimistic about a bright future the very next day.
According to Crystal, GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and she states that HE has already achieved it. Crystal also uploaded a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare facility, connected to medical equipment but otherwise peacefully resting.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses gratitude for the fact that none of the achievements would have been possible if it weren't for the belief and trust of the readers, the divine presence of God, and the prayers and support received. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support network, for showing care by dedicating their time to pray, and for being a member of God's devoted followers. Their appreciation knows no bounds.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the privilege of being able to return home to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their family property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist, earning the title of the most honored female country performer in history.
