Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, there is now some positive news as Ernest's health has shown significant improvements, as reported by his wife Crystal on Monday, January 29th.
Crystal expresses her inability to provide a logical explanation for the situation, attributing it to a higher power, namely God. She highlights the contrasting experiences they have encountered, such as the inability to achieve a successful dialysis for three weeks, followed by sudden success the next day. She also mentions the fluctuation between facing serious circumstances and not, as well as going from uncertainty about the future to having confidence in a positive outcome.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to do, and she affirms that HE has indeed accomplished it. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, seated in a chair, connected to machinery, but seemingly at ease and resting.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's health improvements.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of these achievements would have been possible without the trust and belief of the readers, the all-powerful divine being, and their prayers and support. She extends her appreciation to everyone who has been a part of their support network, emphasizing their care and dedication in taking the time to pray for them. She concludes by expressing eternal gratitude to all those who have contributed to what she refers to as God's army.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is fortunate enough to be able to return home to recover after his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the unfortunate loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her eldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while attempting to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music, and she held the record for being the most honored female country performer in history.
