Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the operation. However, his wife Crystal provided an update on Monday (Jan. 29) stating that Ernest's health has shown significant improvements.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the changes in their situation other than attributing it to a divine power. She highlights how one day they were unable to undergo a successful dialysis treatment for a period of three weeks, but then suddenly the next day they were able to. Similarly, she mentions how they were confronted with more severe circumstances at one point, but then the following day, they were not. Crystal also mentions the fluctuation in their outlook on the future, where one day they were uncertain, and the next day they were filled with confidence and optimism about what lies ahead.
She continues by saying that GOD is capable of doing things that we are unable to accomplish, and HE has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare facility, connected to medical devices but otherwise finding solace.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has been reaching out to fans to ask for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of the achievements would have been possible without the trust and belief of the readers. She also credits the almighty God and the prayers and support received from the readers. She extends her appreciation to everyone who has been a part of their support system, expressing gratitude for their care and taking the time to pray for them. She concludes by thanking everyone for being a part of God's army, emphasizing their eternal gratefulness.
Additionally, she points out that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his own residence for the purpose of recuperating, following his time at
Loretta Lynn has survived two of her children who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first child, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second child, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a country music artist and held the record for being the most decorated female country performer.
