Loretta Lynn’s Son Ernest Makes Miraculous Recovery After Life-Saving Surgery

  • by

Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery might not have been successful. However, there is now some positive news as Ernest's health has shown significant improvements, as reported by his wife Crystal on Monday (Jan. 29).

Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the positive changes in her situation other than attributing it to a higher power, God. She mentions how one day they were unable to successfully undergo dialysis for a period of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. Similarly, she highlights how they were previously dealing with more severe circumstances, but suddenly those circumstances improved. Crystal also mentions the uncertainty they felt about the future at one point, but now they feel hopeful and optimistic about what lies ahead.

In her statement, she expresses that GOD has the ability to accomplish things that we, as humans, cannot. Crystal also includes a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, sitting on a chair and connected to machines, but seemingly at ease.

During Ernest's difficult medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvements in health.

She expresses gratitude for the fact that none of this would have been achievable without the belief and trust that people had in their faith, the all-powerful deity, and the prayers and backing they received. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, caring enough to dedicate their time to pray for them, and being a part of what she refers to as God's army. Their gratitude is everlasting.

Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return home and recover following his time in the hospital.

Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter, Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son, Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success in the field of country music and holds the record for being the female country artist with the highest number of awards.
