Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received positive updates regarding his recovery after undergoing surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initial indications were not promising, but Ernest's wife Crystal has reported significant improvements in his health as of Monday, January 29.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the situation other than attributing it to a higher power, such as God. She elaborates on how one day they were unable to have a successful dialysis treatment for a total of three weeks, but suddenly the following day they were able to. Similarly, there were days when they faced more severe circumstances, only to find that the next day those circumstances were not as dire. Crystal also mentions how one day they were unsure about what the future would bring, but the following day they were filled with optimism and confidence, believing that the future holds great promise.
She continues to affirm that GOD is capable of doing things that we as humans cannot achieve, and she states that HE has already accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a chair at a medical facility, connected to various machines but otherwise resting peacefully.
During the time when Ernest was facing medical challenges, Crystal reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improving health.

Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her eldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. At the age of 90, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Lynn held the distinction of being the female country performer who received the highest number of awards throughout her career.
