Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently had a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were doubts about the success of the surgery. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal has provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the sudden positive changes in her situation, other than attributing them to a higher power, which she refers to as "GOD." She mentions how one day they were unable to successfully undergo dialysis for three weeks, but the very next day, they were able to. She also highlights how they were facing more severe circumstances at one point, but then the next day, the situation seemed less critical. Crystal further explains how uncertainty about the future was replaced with confidence that the future holds promising opportunities.
According to her, GOD has accomplished something that we are unable to achieve. Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering, seemingly sitting on a chair in a medical center. He is connected to machines but seems to be resting comfortably.
In the midst of Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has been reaching out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant role that prayer has played in Ernest's improved health.
The person expresses gratitude and acknowledges that their achievements would not have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of the reader. They thank everyone for being a part of their support system and for taking the time to pray for them. They also express their gratitude for being a part of God's army and state that they are forever grateful.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his residence in order to recover after being discharged from the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter, Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son, Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as an artist in the country music genre, making her the most recognized and honored female country performer in history.
