Ernest Lynn, the son of Loretta Lynn, received positive news regarding his recovery after undergoing a crucial surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the sudden positive turn of events other than attributing it to a higher power, which she refers to as GOD. She shares that there was a period of three weeks where dialysis was not successful, but the following day it miraculously became successful. Additionally, there were days when the circumstances seemed dire, but the very next day they were not as grave. Crystal further explains that one day they were uncertain about what lies ahead, but suddenly they gained confidence and optimism that the future holds great promise.
She expresses that God is capable of doing things that we are unable to do, and He has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also included a picture of Ernest in the process of recovering, sitting on a chair in a medical facility, connected to machines but otherwise at ease.
During Ernest's medical struggle, Crystal has asked for the support and prayers from fans who are worried about her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.

Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. One of them was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The other was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a country music artist and holds the record for being the most honored female country performer ever.
