Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently had surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, there is now some positive news as Ernest's health has started to improve significantly, as reported by his wife Crystal on Monday (Jan. 29).
Crystal expresses her inability to provide any logical explanation for the situation apart from attributing it to a higher power, God. She highlights the significant contrast in the outcomes of their dialysis treatment, where they were unsuccessful for three consecutive weeks and suddenly became successful the next day. Similarly, she mentions the fluctuation in their circumstances, with one day involving more serious issues and the next day experiencing a relief from those concerns. Crystal also emphasizes the sudden shift in their perspective, as they transition from uncertainty about the future to having a strong belief in a positive and promising future.
Crystal expressed her belief that God is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, cannot. She also shared a picture of Ernest, who seems to be recovering in a medical facility, sitting on a chair and connected to machines, but otherwise appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers as they worry about her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of the achievements would have been possible without the faith of the readers, the support from their almighty God, and the prayers given by them. She further extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, showing care and taking the time to pray for them. Lastly, she expresses her gratitude for being a part of God's army and states that they are eternally thankful.
The author points out that Ernest is allowed to return home to recuperate following his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her eldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, and her eldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in the country music industry, earning her the distinction of being the female country performer with the highest number of awards ever received.
