Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been effective, but as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started to show significant improvements in his health.
Crystal shares on Facebook that she cannot comprehend the reason behind these unexpected changes, except for attributing it to a higher power, God. She expresses astonishment at the fact that one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis session for three consecutive weeks, but the following day they could. Similarly, one day they were confronted with grave circumstances, only to find that the next day the situation was not as dire. Crystal also mentions that they were uncertain about what lay ahead in the future, but suddenly gained confidence and optimism, believing that the future holds great promise.
Crystal expresses that God has the ability to accomplish things that we are unable to do, and she emphasizes that He has indeed accomplished it. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest recovering in a medical facility, seemingly seated in a chair and connected to medical equipment, while appearing to be resting comfortably.
During the difficult time of Ernest's medical situation, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.

Loretta Lynn endured the loss of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her oldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in the country music genre. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
