Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received some positive news about his recovery after undergoing a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were doubts about the success of the surgery. However, on Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal took to Facebook to express her astonishment and admitted that she could not find any logical explanation for the situation she was experiencing, other than attributing it to a higher power. She mentioned how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a continuous period of three weeks, but miraculously, the very next day, they were able to do so. The circumstances seemed to change dramatically as well, with one day presenting more grave challenges, only to be followed by a day where those challenges were not as severe. Crystal also pointed out how uncertain they were about what the future held, but then suddenly, they were filled with confidence and optimism, believing that the future would be filled with
She continues to express that GOD has the ability to accomplish things that we are unable to do, and HE has indeed achieved it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair in a healthcare facility, connected to medical equipment but otherwise resting peacefully.
During the time that Ernest was facing his medical challenges, Crystal reached out to the fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvement in health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the belief and trust that others had in them. She credits their success to the powerful presence of God and the prayers and support received from others. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, emphasizing their care and dedication in praying for them. She also appreciates those who have joined them as part of God's army, expressing eternal gratitude for their contributions.
She further mentions that Ernest is given the opportunity to go back home for the purpose of recovery after being discharged from the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, Betty Sue and Jack Benny, who were born to her and her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Betty Sue died in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She had reached the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Lynn held the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
