Luke Combs has made progress towards the opening of his bar in downtown Nashville, as he recently unveiled the name of the establishment: Category 10.
The singer expresses his excitement in a video message that he shares on his social media. The video is filmed backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where the singer is an official member. Additionally, he reveals that he is partnering with Opry Entertainment Group to open his new bar.
As you may already be aware, hurricanes are classified on a scale of categories, with Category 5 being the most severe. However, we decided to go above and beyond by creating a new category, Category 10.
"It's going to be an amazing country music bar. It will be located in downtown Nashville and will offer a variety of food and drinks. Whatever you desire, we will have it. It's going to be a fantastic time," he expressed enthusiastically. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening and can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't explicitly state it on his social media post, the title Category 10 can also be associated with Combs' first song, "Hurricane," which metaphorically depicts the aftermath of unexpectedly encountering an ex as comparable to the destruction caused by a powerful natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" marked Combs' first number one hit and initiated a remarkable series of consecutive chart-toppers that still persists today. In fact, all 17 of his officially released singles have reached the pinnacle of the country music charts.
In April 2023, Combs provided information about his bar in Nashville. He is among a group of famous individuals who have attached their names to a popular establishment in the downtown area. Combs now joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and numerous other artists who have done the same.
