Luke Combs has made progress in the process of opening his bar in downtown Nashville. He recently revealed the name of the bar, which will be called Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his enthusiasm for an upcoming event. The video was recorded backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where the singer is a recognized member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
As you are aware, hurricanes are categorized based on their strength, with the highest level being Category 5. However, we decided to go beyond that and created a new category, Category 10.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a wide range of food and drinks. Whatever you desire, we will have it. This place is going to be a blast," he enthusiastically expressed. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening and can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he did not mention it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a parallel between encountering an ex unexpectedly and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" marked Combs' first number one hit and initiated a remarkable streak of 17 consecutive chart-topping singles on the country music charts. This extraordinary achievement still persists to this day, as all of Combs' official radio releases have reached the pinnacle of success.
Combs initially revealed information about his bar in Nashville in April 2023. He is among a group of famous artists who have chosen to have their own popular establishments in the downtown area. With the opening of Category 10, he now joins the likes of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and several other well-known musicians.
