Luke Combs has recently shared the name of his upcoming bar in downtown Nashville, bringing him closer to its grand opening. The establishment will be called Category 10.
The singer expressed his enthusiasm in a video message shared on his social media platform. The video was filmed behind the scenes at the Grand Ole Opry, where the singer is a recognized member. Additionally, he will be launching his new bar in collaboration with the Opry Entertainment Group.
As you all are aware, hurricanes have a maximum intensity of Category 5. However, we thought it would be interesting to amplify it by creating a new category called Category 10.
"It's going to be an amazing country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of delicious food and drinks. Whatever you desire, we will have it available. It's going to be a fantastic experience," he enthusiastically expressed. "I am eagerly looking forward to the grand opening and seeing all of you there."
Although not explicitly stated in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 evokes memories of Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws parallels between encountering an ex unexpectedly and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" marked Combs' breakthrough success, topping the charts. This single also marked the beginning of a remarkable achievement for Combs, as all 17 of his official radio releases have reached the number one spot on the country charts, an ongoing record-breaking streak.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar located in Nashville. He is among a group of famous artists who have lent their names to popular establishments in the downtown area, such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and more. The addition of Category 10 now includes Combs in this esteemed group.
