Luke Combs has made progress in his plans to open a bar in downtown Nashville. Recently, he disclosed the name of the bar, which will be called Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense enthusiasm for a particular event. The video was filmed backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, an iconic location where the singer holds the title of an official Opry member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch a new bar.
As many of you are aware, the maximum intensity a hurricane can reach is Category 5. However, we decided to exaggerate and create a hypothetical Category 10 hurricane, which is double the strength of the strongest recorded hurricanes.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. It will be located in downtown Nashville and will offer a variety of food and drinks. Whatever you desire, we will have it available. It promises to be a great time," he enthusiastically added. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment and cannot wait to see all of you there."
Although not explicitly stated in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 brings to mind Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a parallel between unexpectedly encountering an ex-partner and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first song to reach the top of the charts. This marked the beginning of his remarkable achievement of consecutively achieving 17 No. 1 hits on the country charts with all of his official radio singles to date.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar located in Nashville. He is among a group of famous musicians who have attached their names to popular establishments in the downtown area. Category 10 is the latest addition to this list, which already includes renowned artists like Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and numerous others.
