Luke Combs has made progress towards the opening of his bar in downtown Nashville. He recently disclosed the name of the bar as Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense enthusiasm. The video was filmed backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where Combs is a recognized member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
Clearly, as you all are aware, the highest level a hurricane can reach is Category 5. Hence, we decided to multiply it by two and label it as Category 10.
"It's going to be a fantastic country music venue. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of food and drinks. You can expect to find anything you desire, as we have it all. The atmosphere will be incredibly enjoyable," he enthusiastically remarked. "I am eagerly anticipating the grand opening and cannot wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't mention it in his social media announcement, the name "Category 10" is reminiscent of Combs' first single, "Hurricane." This song, released in 2016, compared the emotional impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex to the devastation caused by a natural disaster. "Hurricane" not only became Combs' first chart-topping hit, but it also marked the beginning of his impressive streak of No. 1 hits. To this day, all of Combs' 17 official radio singles have reached the top of the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs provided information about his bar in Nashville. He is just one of the many famous musicians who have lent their name to a popular establishment in the downtown area. The opening of Category 10 adds Combs to the list of artists such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, and Dierks Bentley who have also ventured into the hospitality industry.
