Luke Combs has made progress in his plans to open his bar in downtown Nashville as he recently revealed the name of the establishment: Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense excitement. The video was filmed backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where he is a recognized member. Additionally, he is partnering with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his own bar.
As you all are aware, the highest intensity a hurricane can reach is Category 5. Therefore, we decided to multiply it by two and designate it as Category 10.
"It's going to be an amazing country bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a variety of food and drinks. We have everything you could possibly want. This place is going to be incredibly enjoyable," he enthusiastically expressed. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening of this establishment. I can't wait to see all of you there."
Although he didn't mention it in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 alludes to Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a parallel between unexpectedly encountering an ex and the destructive impact of a natural disaster. Released in 2016, "Hurricane" became Combs' first song to reach the top of the charts, marking the beginning of his remarkable streak of 17 consecutive No. 1 hits on the country charts.
In April 2023, Combs revealed information about his bar in Nashville. He is one of many famous artists who have chosen to associate their name with a popular establishment in the city center. The addition of Category 10 adds Combs to the list of renowned musicians such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and more.
