Luke Combs has made progress in his plans to open a bar in downtown Nashville. During a recent evening, he disclosed the name of the upcoming establishment, which will be called Category 10.
In a video message shared on his social media, the singer expresses his immense enthusiasm for an upcoming event. The video was recorded backstage at the renowned Grand Ole Opry, where the singer holds the status of an official Opry member. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Opry Entertainment Group to launch his new bar.
As most of you are aware, hurricanes are classified on a scale ranging up to Category 5, representing the highest level of intensity. However, we decided to take it a step further and create a new category, Category 10.
"It's going to be an incredible country music bar. Located in downtown Nashville, it will offer a wide range of food and drinks. Whatever you desire, we will have it available. It's going to be a fantastic experience," he added enthusiastically. "I am eagerly anticipating the opening and can't wait to see all of you there."
Although it was not mentioned in his social media announcement, the name Category 10 also reminds us of Combs' first single, "Hurricane," which draws a comparison between the impact of unexpectedly encountering an ex and the destructive force of a natural disaster.
