There is a list of country music stars who have not been very active since before the pandemic. Out of those, at least three are expected to release an album this year. One of them is George Strait, who has taken a break of five years since his last album, Honky Tonk Time Machine.

Some musicians appear to lack motivation to create new music. One iconic artist who is still actively performing has openly admitted that she has no further artistic expression to offer. Another musician is adopting a relaxed approach towards making music, indicating that they will work on it at their own pace, and we cannot blame them for it. After all, they have dedicated a significant amount of time and have already released almost twelve exceptional albums.
