Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, his wife Crystal shared an update on Monday (Jan. 29) stating that Ernest's health has started to show significant improvements.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the positive changes that have occurred. She mentions that one day they were unable to have a successful dialysis session for a period of three weeks, but suddenly the next day, they were able to. Similarly, one day they were dealing with more severe circumstances, but the following day, the situation seemed less critical. Crystal also mentions how uncertain they were about what the future held, but then suddenly gained confidence and optimism that the future is promising.
She continues to mention that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to, and HE has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also uploaded a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare facility. He is connected to medical equipment but appears to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical difficulties, Crystal has reached out to fans for support and prayers regarding her husband's healing process. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact of prayer on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.

Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Similarly, her oldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
On October 4, 2022, Lynn passed away at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as a prominent figure in the country music industry, earning numerous accolades and establishing herself as the most decorated female country performer in history.
