Do you recall Morgan Wallen's audition on 'The Voice'? Take a look at it. Back in 2014, Morgan Wallen was an ordinary country boy with long hair and a job in landscaping. However, everything took a turn when he decided to try out for the talent show, The Voice.
Wallen made his way onto the stage, donning a gray button-up shirt along with a black jacket and tie. This was quite a departure from his usual appearance, surprising his fans. He opted to perform "Collide" by Howie Day, a song that complemented his deep and rough vocals exceptionally well.
Shakira quickly rotated her chair, while the other coaches hesitated before pressing their red button. Eventually, Usher decided to participate by pressing his button, however, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine chose not to take a risk with Wallen.
Usher and Shakira praised the distinctiveness of his voice, emphasizing that there was no other voice like his either on the show or on the radio. Following their enthusiastic appeals, Wallen ultimately chose Usher as his coach.
The singer known for the song "Everything I Love" was taken from Team Usher and joined Team Adam in the second round to continue his journey. He managed to reach the playoffs but was eventually eliminated.
In an interview with Billboard, he expressed that there are certain aspects of life that we cannot control. However, he emphasized that striving to be the best version of yourself is within your control. He acknowledged that he didn't feel he had performed to the best of his abilities, so he decided to put in more effort and practice harder.
Looking ahead to the present, Wallen has become a prominent figure in the world of country music. Currently, he is busy recording his fourth studio album and getting ready for the 2024 segment of his One Night at a Time Tour, which will recommence in April.
