Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light Commercial for Super Bowl Cameo

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in country music, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. With numerous upcoming commitments already lined up for 2024, she has also secured a spot in a highly anticipated Super Bowl commercial.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology to enhance the experience for fans.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" zooms past her. The scene will exude a cold atmosphere, featuring strong gusts of snow, a stylish icy blue jacket, and, naturally, a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, contrary to expectations, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

I had a photoshoot where I posed with my beloved guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. The photoshoot involved some interesting makeup effects with a frosty appearance, and we also used fake snow on my hair and eyelashes. It was a unique experience for me, allowing me to explore my creativity in new and exciting ways, which I always enjoy.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the thrilling showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is eager to watch the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.

"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher and I'm also excited for the game. This will be my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take the opportunity. It's a truly unique experience and I am fortunate to be going with friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

Even though she didn't explicitly express her full support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to win again.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both part of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. They attended one of his shows last summer, and Wilson describes them as genuinely kind individuals. He expresses that if he were to support or cheer for someone, it would likely be Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This attention is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most dominant athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule, and many fans are excited about the possibility of seeing her at the Super Bowl on February 11. However, her Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10. Despite this, it's entirely possible that she'll be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game because of the time difference.

Following a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with Taste of Country for more news and updates. Connect with us on social
