Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light for a Chilly Super Bowl Cameo

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music industry, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, including an appearance in a commercial during the highly anticipated Super Bowl event.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a CGI virtual seat booking component, allowing fans to have an interactive experience.

Wilson will be featured in a winter-themed advertisement where she is in the midst of a photo shoot when a train called the "Chill Train" rushes past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the ad was actually filmed in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star shares their experience of a photo shoot where they posed with their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying frost-like makeup effects and adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes, which the star found exciting and enjoyable because it allowed them to explore their creativity in new and unique ways.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the thrilling match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson admits that she is equally enthusiastic about both watching the game and the halftime show.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher and also excited about the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a lively celebration."

While not explicitly endorsing any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, achieving another victory.

According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs team. Wilson mentioned that they attended one of his shows last summer and he had a positive experience with them, finding them to be genuinely nice individuals. As a result, if he had to support or cheer for a particular team, Wilson would possibly choose to root for Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone is paying close attention to Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not just because he is recognized as one of the NFL's strongest players, but also because he is in a relationship with the famous singer, Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit them into her touring schedule. Many fans are excited and hopeful to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. However, Swift's Eras Tour is set to continue earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Despite this, there is a chance she could make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl due to the time difference.

Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce following his team's significant victory in the AFC Championship. This news comes from Taste of Country, a reliable source of information. Stay updated
