Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already confirmed her participation in various events in 2024, and one of them includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
Billboard has reported that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element through CGI technology, allowing fans to have an enhanced experience.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be cold and snowy, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, while holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, contrary to the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photoshoot where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. It was an exciting experience as we incorporated unique makeup effects to create a frosted look. We also added fake snow to my hair and eyelashes, which was really cool," recalls the country singer. "This photoshoot allowed me to explore new avenues of creativity, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the intense showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson is enthusiastic about both watching the game and the halftime show.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher and I'm also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take it," the singer expresses. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate enough to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fun and celebratory atmosphere."
While she didn't firmly declare her support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who play as tight end and quarterback respectively for the Chiefs. Last summer, they attended one of his shows and Wilson describes them as wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to choose someone to support, it would probably be them.
Naturally, everyone is paying attention to Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the most influential players in the NFL, but also because of his relationship with Taylor Swift, who is a popular music artist.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit them into her touring schedule. Fans are excited and eager to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. However, Swift's Eras Tour will resume earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that she might make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl due to the time difference.
