Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for numerous events in 2024, and one of them includes an appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology for fans to experience.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" zooms past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light to match the chilly atmosphere. However, despite the winter setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
The country singer recalls a photo shoot where they were accompanied by a horse provided by Coors Light. They had interesting makeup effects with a frosted look and also had fake snow applied to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed them to explore different creative avenues, which they found enjoyable.
Wilson, who is currently dating Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to watch the exciting showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled about watching the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.
"I am really looking forward to attending the Super Bowl and seeing Usher perform. This is only my second time going to the Super Bowl, so I am incredibly excited. Whenever you receive an invitation to attend such a prestigious event, you simply cannot turn it down. It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's definitely going to be a fun and lively celebration."
Even though she didn't explicitly endorse any particular team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl again.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both members of the Kansas City Chiefs, specifically the tight end and quarterback, respectively. Wilson mentions that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and he found them to be genuinely wonderful individuals. Given this pleasant encounter, if Wilson were to support and cheer for a team, it would likely be the Chiefs, mainly because of his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he heads into the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most influential athletes but also because of his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift.
Swift has been present at Chiefs games this season whenever she has been able to fit them into her busy touring schedule. A lot of fans are eager to catch a glimpse of her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11. Swift's Eras Tour will resume during that week, starting with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10. Nonetheless, there is a chance that she might be able to return to Las Vegas in time to witness the significant game, thanks to the time difference.
After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates and news from Taste of Country by following us.
