Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light’s “Chill Train” Super Bowl Commercial with CGI Virtual Seat Booking

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and it seems like she's not planning to take a break as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already secured various commitments for 2024, and one exciting opportunity includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to make a special appearance in a commercial for Coors Light. The commercial aims to promote the comeback of Coors Light Chill Train, a popular beer brand. This time, the commercial will feature a new element where fans can virtually book their seats using CGI technology for an enhanced experience.

In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by. The scene will have a cool atmosphere, with gusts of snow, a frosty blue jacket, and, naturally, a cold Coors Light can. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

The country star shares a story about a photo shoot they did with their reliable guitar and a horse that was provided by Coors Light. They had the opportunity to incorporate some amazing makeup effects, such as a frosted look, and even had fake snow applied to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed them to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which is always enjoyable for them.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl this year. She will be present at the event in Las Vegas, where she will witness the exciting clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson confesses that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.

"I am filled with anticipation to witness both Usher's performance and the game at the Super Bowl. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever I receive an invitation, I make sure to seize the opportunity. It is an extraordinary experience that occurs once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to attend alongside my friends and fellow artists. It will undoubtedly be a celebratory occasion."

Although she didn't explicitly express her full support for any particular team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to personally meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. He mentions that they attended one of his shows last summer and expresses his admiration for them as individuals, describing them as wonderful people. If he had to choose someone to support, Wilson states that he would likely root for Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most formidable athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her schedule while on tour. Many fans are hopeful to catch a glimpse of her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. However, Swift's Eras Tour will resume earlier that week, with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. Despite this, it is entirely possible that she may return to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game, thanks to the time difference.
