Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, one of which includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element through CGI, allowing fans to have an immersive experience.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly, the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be set in a cold environment with strong gusts of snow, and Wilson will be wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, accompanied by a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, it may come as a surprise that the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot with my reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. We used some amazing makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we even had fake snow applied to my hair and eyelashes," shares the country musician. "I had the opportunity to try something new and be creative in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is currently dating former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to attend this year's Super Bowl in Las Vegas. She will be present to witness the exciting clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled to watch the game, she is equally excited for the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to be attending the Super Bowl and seeing Usher perform. This is only my second time going to the Super Bowl, so it is a special opportunity that I cannot miss. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am going with some of my friends and fellow artists. It's going to be an amazing celebration."
While she didn't explicitly declare her allegiance to any specific team, Wilson appears to be anticipating a potential victory for the Chiefs, who are currently the reigning champions of the Super Bowl.
Wilson states that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. If he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not just because he is known as one of the NFL's strongest players, but also because he is dating the famous pop star, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been present at Chiefs games this season whenever she is able to fit them into her busy touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of seeing her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. Just before the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will resume with a concert in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. However, there is a chance that she might return to Las Vegas in time to catch the big game because of the time difference.
