Lainey Wilson Makes a Splash in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial, Talks Halftime Show Excitement and Chiefs Connection

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already confirmed her participation in numerous events for 2024, with one notable highlight being her appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will incorporate a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology to enhance the experience for fans.

In Wilson's advertisement, she will be depicted in a winter-themed setting during a photo shoot. Suddenly, the "Chill Train" will pass by her, creating a chilly atmosphere with swirling snow and her sporting an icy blue fringe jacket. Naturally, she will also be seen with a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry scene, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.

"I recently had a photo session where I posed with my beloved guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. It was an exciting experience as we incorporated unique makeup effects that gave a frosted appearance. In addition, we had the opportunity to add artificial snow to my hair and eyelashes, which was really cool," shares the country musician. "This shoot allowed me to explore new creative avenues, which is always enjoyable for me."

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has plans to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that she is equally thrilled for the halftime show as she is for watching the game.

"I am thrilled to be attending the Super Bowl and looking forward to seeing Usher perform. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so I am really excited. Whenever you receive an invitation to go to the Super Bowl, you simply cannot pass it up. It is a unique and unforgettable experience, especially since I will be going with my friends and other artists. It is going to be an absolute blast."

Although she didn't explicitly express her full support for either team, Wilson appears to be anticipating another victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the current Super Bowl champions.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Chiefs, and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs' quarterback. He mentions that they attended one of his shows last summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Given the chance to support someone, Wilson admits that he might choose to root for Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone is paying attention to Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the strongest players in the NFL but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been present at Chiefs games throughout the year whenever her touring commitments permit. Fans are eagerly anticipating her attendance at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will resume with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10. However, considering the time difference, it is entirely feasible for her to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the highly anticipated game.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. For additional updates and news, follow Taste of Country on social media platforms.
