Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and it seems like she is not planning to slow down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for several events in 2024, and one of them is a cameo appearance in a Super Bowl commercial.
Billboard has reported that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking component created with CGI technology, allowing fans to have an enhanced viewing experience.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photoshoot when suddenly, the "Chill Train" rushes past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. Interestingly, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. We had some amazing makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we also added fake snow to my hair and eyelashes. It was a unique experience for me, allowing me to explore my creativity in new and exciting ways, which is always enjoyable."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas this year. She will witness the highly anticipated showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs firsthand.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled to watch the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.
"I am really looking forward to watching Usher perform and I'm also excited about the game. This is only the second time I have been able to attend the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with some of my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."
While she didn't explicitly show her strong support for any particular team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to win again.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer and he describes them as genuinely kind individuals. As a result, if he had to choose a team to support, it would likely be the Chiefs because of his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, Kelce is the center of attention leading up to the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's dominant players, but also because of his romantic relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Whenever she has the opportunity in her touring schedule, Swift has been going to Chiefs games this year. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 11. However, her Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that she may return to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game, thanks to the time difference.
