Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a busy year in 2023 and is showing no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, including a role in a commercial that will be aired during the Super Bowl.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will highlight the relaunch of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will incorporate a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology, allowing fans to have an immersive experience.
In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when she is suddenly passed by the "Chill Train." The scene will be cold, with strong gusts of snow, and Wilson will be wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. We had some amazing makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we also had fake snow applied to my hair and eyelashes. It was a new experience for me, allowing me to be creative in various ways, which I always enjoy."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present at the event, where she will witness the clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled for the halftime show.
"I am feeling very enthusiastic about seeing Usher perform, and I am also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever I receive an invitation to go, I never turn it down. It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It will definitely be a lively and enjoyable event."
Although she didn't explicitly express her strong support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be anticipating another victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson found them to be wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to support a team, it would likely be the Chiefs due to his positive interaction with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his relationship with Taylor Swift, who is a popular singer.
Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season and fans are anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. Although she is scheduled for a concert in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10 as part of her Eras Tour, there is a chance that she could return to Las Vegas in time to catch the important game, thanks to the time difference.
Taylor Swift shows her affection for Travis Kelce with a kiss following his team's victory in the AFC Championship.
