Lainey Wilson to Make a Cool Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down in the upcoming year. She has already secured numerous appearances for 2024, and one exciting opportunity includes being featured in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that promotes the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the ad will feature a virtual seat booking element using CGI technology, providing fans with an enjoyable experience.

In the wintry-themed ad, Wilson will be captured in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" speeds past her. The scene will be filled with snow, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. Interestingly, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.

"I recently had a photo session where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that I was connected with through Coors Light. It was a great experience as we incorporated unique makeup effects that gave a frosted appearance. We also added artificial snow to my hair and eyelashes, adding to the overall look. It allowed me to explore new creative avenues and have fun in different ways, something I always enjoy."

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to observe the showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is eagerly looking forward to watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to be able to see Usher perform, and I am also excited about the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

Wilson didn't explicitly express her strong support for any specific team, but it appears that she is wishing for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.

Wilson states that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone is paying attention to Kelce as the Super Bowl approaches. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest players, but also because of his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, a popular singer.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule. Fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. However, Swift's Eras Tour will resume earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Despite this, it is likely that she will be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl due to the time difference.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with Taste of Country for more information and follow us for the latest updates.
