Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a hectic schedule in 2023 and it seems like she won't be taking a break as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, which now includes a role in a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This commercial will introduce a new feature where fans can virtually book their seats using CGI technology.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be set in a cold environment, featuring strong gusts of snow, a frosty blue fringe jacket, and, naturally, a chilled can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the commercial in the sunny city of Los Angeles.
"I recently had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided to me by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying interesting makeup effects that gave a frosted appearance, and we also had the opportunity to incorporate fake snow into my hair and eyelashes. It was a new experience for me and allowed me to express my creativity in unique ways, which I always find enjoyable."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.
"I am filled with anticipation to witness Usher's performance, and I am also thrilled about the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever I receive an invitation to go, I seize the opportunity. It is a rare experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to go alongside my friends and other artists. It is bound to be an incredible celebration."
While she didn't strongly declare her support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.
Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer, and Wilson describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose a team to support, he would likely root for them.
Naturally, everyone is paying attention to Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes but also because of his relationship with pop music sensation, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been making an effort to attend Chiefs games this season whenever she is not busy with her touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11th. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour resumes with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, it is likely that she will be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the big game due to the time difference.
After the significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. To find out more, stay tuned to Taste of Country.
