Lainey Wilson to Make a Memorable Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music industry, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023, and it seems like she won't be taking a break as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, and one of them is a role in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will include a virtual seat booking feature through CGI, providing fans with an enhanced experience.

Wilson will be featured in a winter-themed advertisement where she will be seen during a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by. The scene will have a cold atmosphere, with strong gusts of snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a can of Coors Light to emphasize the coldness. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.

"I had a photoshoot where I posed with my beloved guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. It was an interesting experience as we used cool makeup effects to create a frosted look, and we even had fake snow applied to my hair and eyelashes," recalls the country singer. "I had the opportunity to try something new and express my creativity in unique ways, which is always enjoyable for me."

Wilson, who is romantically involved with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to observe the highly anticipated match-up between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson confesses that while she is thrilled about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher perform and I am also excited about the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely accept it," expresses the singer enthusiastically. "It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be attending with my friends and other artists. It is going to be a great celebration."

Wilson did not explicitly declare her support for any specific team, but it appears that she is optimistic about the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, securing another victory.

Wilson expresses that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as being genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose a team to support, it would likely be the Chiefs due to his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone is paying close attention to Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only because he is known as one of the NFL's most influential players, but also because he is in a relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been present at Chiefs games this year, and numerous fans are anticipating her appearance at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11th. Swift's Eras Tour will recommence earlier that week with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, it is entirely plausible that she will return to Las Vegas in time to witness the major game owing to the time difference.

After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with Taste of Country for more news and updates. Follow us for more information
